We recommend coming together where possible. As the assessment covers both sides, talking the process through together at the first visit saves time.

We take a detailed history and carry out an examination and ultrasound. Any tests needed are arranged; once the results are in, we discuss the options and the timetable together.

The preparation, monitoring and transfer stages usually span about three weeks. The length varies with the person and the method chosen, and the timetable is shared in advance.

Yes. Before the process begins we share a written plan and the cost. If the plan needs to change we ask for your approval again.

In a pregnancy progressing without complications, reviews are usually monthly and more frequent in the final weeks. Where extra monitoring is needed the interval is shortened.

Yes. Regular checks and screening matter for the things that need to be noticed before symptoms appear. We agree the frequency together, based on your age and history.
